Welcome to the on line store for the SHELL CHESTER HALF MARATHON, organised by West Cheshire Athletic Club, on Sunday 17 MAY 2009 starting 9.30 a.m.
This race is run over a fast and accurately measured course starting and finishing at Chester Racecourse. It will take place under UK Athletics Rules and with UKA Licence No. 20090118.

Important Note: From 1st April 2008 the England Athletics registration scheme for runners will be fully implemented. This replaces the previous unattached levy and will entitle registered runners to a discounted race entry fee. If you are a registered runner please select the appropriate tariff to enter this event. For more information (when available) please visit www.englandathletics.org.
There is a race limit of 2,800. The minimum age for participation is 17 years on race day.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A RUNNING EVENT.
ROAD CLOSURES AND MARSHALS CAN ONLY REMAIN IN PLACE FOR RUNNERS COMPLETING THE COURSE WITHIN 3 HOURS.
Entry in advance only there will be NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY.
Race numbers and information packs will be posted during the week commencing 27 April. This will include a race timing chip in a pre-paid envelope. If you cannot run please put this in a post box for return.
There will be a 1 mile FAMILY FUN RUN starting at 09:45. The entry fee for this is £2.00 and this race can only be entered on the day. There is an award to all fun run finishers.
